Hot Springs
Maybe its a bit chilly out or maybe you just want to go for a warm dip... The hotsprings is a good place to go. If you live in Rexburg, Green Canyon is not too far away and it is only five bucks. So go and relax for once
DI Drive
If you're group is looking for a more service oriented activity for the night here's a good one. Have everyone bring something to donate and then go around apartment complexes and ask if there is anything they can donate. If that is too awkward, maybe send out a notice the week before saying your group will be coming around and ask for the donations to be ready. And then take the donations to the DI and feel the blessings of service..
Bowling
Ok so this is not exactly the most creative activity but its still fun to do. If you're at BYUI the MC has a bowling alley that is really cheap (like a whole $2 a game). Or go somewhere with a black light and go bowling there wearing white..
Wallyball
So if you are a volleyball lover this game is one you are going to L O V E. Even if you are not a volleyball a lover, I still think this is a game you'll really like..
Ok get a hold of a racquetball ball court (if you're up at BYUI you can reserve one at the hart). Set up the volleyball court and play with the regular rules, however you can play off the walls and ceiling. It gets a little intense so if you are accident prone, you might want to be a little extra careful..

Tiedye
I kinda love tiedye, maybe its because I am from Seattle and tiedye is bit "hippyish".. But nothing brings a FHE froup closer together than matching tiedye shirts, or just making the shirts together. It a kit from Walmart or Target and some cheap undershirts (..or whatever you desire to tiedye..) and get to get..
Oh just dont wear anything you want to risk becoming premanently dyed
Ultimate Frisbee
Hopefully the weather is a bit warmer, or if you're an adventurous group I guess it doesn't really matter. But grab a frisbee divide into teams and battle it out to see who really does own at ultimate frisbee. If you're a little hazy on the rules here's the rules from some people who really care about the sport..... http://ultimatefrisbeerules.org/
Snowshoeing
Snowshoeing is a whole lot more fun than I think people give it credit for. If you live in a winter wonderland like we do, this is a perfect FHE activity for your group. Those of you who do live in lovely Rexburg, the golf course or R "mountain" are great places to go. Also, you can rent snowshoes (and those boots that cover your shoes so your feet don't get cold) at the ORC. Here's the link http://activities.byui.edu/ORC/default.htm and be prepared because its a GOOD workout!
Ghetto Golf
You take regular cheap red plastic cups that you can buy for way cheap and set them up all around campus. You tape them to the ground so they wont move and you basically set up your own 18 hole mini golf course like down stairs and through random hallways and what not. Good times.

Anything Better
I will admit this is a craigslist inspired idea. Divide into teams. Each team starts with the same random objects (like a paperclip). Have the group go around the apartments asking the residences what they can give you for the object and trade them for whatever they will give you. The team with the best object at the end of the night wins..
Oh if you guys are wondering what this has to do with craigslist, here's an interesting article http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12346469/ns/us_news-weird_news/ and another article http://www.autointhenews.com/teen-trades-up-on-craigslist-from-phone-to-porsche-in-2-years/
Photo Scavenger Hunt
You break up into teams of how ever many you want. Then you make a list of things that you need to go and take pictures of, either around the apartment complex, school, or entire city. The first team to take a picture of everything on the list, and return before anyone else wins
Snowman Contest
Grab some miscellaneous snowman making materials (scarfs, gloves, carrots, the usually..). Divide up into groups and compete to make the best snowman you all have ever seen.. Maybe make if a little more interesting by the loser doing some sort of punishment (like having them be completely buried in the snow..)
The flour-in-the-face game
You pack flour in a cup, turn the cup over on a plate and take the cup off so all you have is a giant mountain of flour. Then, you place a penny on top. Each person cuts away at the flour and the person who happens to cut too close to the penny knocking everything over has to pick out the penny from the flour with their teeth.
Watermelon Contest
Get some watermelons, crack them open and see who in your group can eat the most. Add a little twist with blindfolds or tie people's hands behind their backs..... But I bet anything my grandmother can school all of you at this contest...
Ten Dollar Meal
Give everyone a dollar (so it might be an eight or a twelve dollar meal) have each person buy an ingredient. Some people may want to double up and purchase something a bit more expensive than something that cost more than a dollar. Go home and try to create a dinner with what was purchase.. The only trick parts to this activity is you cannot go over your dollar limit as a group and the meal has to edible.
Extreme Ice cream Sundaes
This activity is no ordinary ice cream sundae assembly. Its a lot more interesting, and difficult. First rule, NO UTENSILS (some like to include no plates with this rule). Have everyone bring the favorite ice cream sundae, personally I love hot fudge, then have everyone build their sundae on the counter with only their hands (be sure everyone's washed their hands before...) then eat the sundae of the counter without a spoon, fork, knife, or any other utensil.. It a delicious mess.
Just as a side note, be sure the counter's clean before you start this activity..
Finding Morals and Applications
The group must first pick a book, movie, magazine article, newspaper article, song, or another form of media. Then, everyone has to go around and share how the media's message relates to the gospel.
Easter Egg Hunt
So I believe the title explains this activity better well, go on an easter egg hunt as a FHE group.. Maybe do a twist and fill the eggs with something unusually....
The Flour-in-the-Face Game
You pack flour in a cup, turn the cup over on a plate and take the cup off so all you have is a giant mountain of flour. Then, you place a penny on top. Each person cuts away at the flour, and the person who happens to cut too close to the penny knocking everything over has to pick out the penny from the flour with their teeth.

Pudding War
WARNING: YOU WILL GET DIRTY DURING THIS ACTIVITY..
So make some pudding, the more the better. You want lots and lots and LOTS of pudding. Have half your group stand on lower ground and the other half take the pudding to a higher level. Then have the group with the pudding try to drop the pudding into the lower people's mouth. Its very entertaining, and straight up delicious. Then switch the pudding dropers and the people catching the pudding
***as a side note, be courteous and clean up after your fantastic activity :)***
Human Sardines
Form teams and select two people from the opposing team. They are blindfolded and hidden somewhere in the town. The teams meet up and call the lost members of the team. First ones back, win!
Slop Fest
WARNING: This will most likely get VERY messy. Proceed with caution.
This is one of my personal favorites. As a group make a messy meal, spaghetti works REALLY well and peas or mash potatoes.. Then tie everyone's hands behind their backs (or to make it a little cleaner tie them to the person who is sitting next to them) and have them get their dinner with no eating utensils.. Good luck, and wear something you don't mind getting dirty..
Classic Guitar Hero Jam Sesh
Nothing builds family unity like jamming out to great music together as a family unit...
Homemade Pizza
So this is pizza night with a twist. Have everyone bring their favorite toppings (pepporni, cheese, olives, you know those kinds of things). First make the crust, here's a really good recipe I love to use http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Valentinos-Pizza-Crust/Detail.aspx. After you make your crust add toppings, bake, and enjoy.
Chance
You take a deck of cards and you sit in a circle. Before the game, you pick a dare *such as eating a crazy food concoction or jumping in the snow or picking your nose and eating it haha...just messing about that last one) that the loser of the game has to do. The game is set up in rounds. First round, you all pick from the scattered pile of cards one card, whoever chooses the highest card in the round is safe and doesn't have to keep playing. You do that until there are only two people left. Then you all decide on a card, such as the 3 of hearts. The remaining two people have to take turns flipping over cards and the person who picks up the 3 of hearts loses and has to do the dare. You want good laughs and great memories? This is the game for you!
Pizza Night
Well this activity is not necessarily the most creative, but is a good one for finals weeks or for a day that just needs to be chilled out. Grab some pizzas for the group and a movie. Enjoy watching and eating..
Capture The Flag
Two teams each have a flag (or other marker) and the objective is to capture the other team's flag, located at the team's "base," and bring it safely back to their own base. Enemy players can be "tagged" by players in their home territory; these players are then, depending on the agreed rules, out of the game, members of the opposite team, or "in jail."
Extreme Cookies
This is for the group who likes to get a little crazy.. Ok maybe not that crazy, but its definitely not the traditional cookie making process. Divide up into partners. One person will be blind folded and the other will have their hands tied behind their backs. The person who is blind folded then puts their arms in between the arms of their tied up partners. The person who can see gives the directions, while the person who is blind does the actions... Let just say this activity can turn out some very interesting cookies..
Secret Santa
So want to do an activity to help celebrate Christmas. Hosting a secret santa is a great way to do that. Have everyone pick a name (secretly) and then go out and get them a nice little goodie. Have everyone anonymously exchange their gifts. Then if you so desire, try to figure out which person gave which gift.
The Animal Game
One person is blindfolded in the middle of a circle of people. The person in the middle spins around and randomly points in someones direction and then says the name of an animal. the person in the circle who is being pointed to has to make the noise of the animal, but you want to disguise your voice because if the person in the middle says your name then it's your turn to be in the middle.
White Elephant
Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas.. Or if you live in Rexburg like we do, it always looks like Christmas.. If the Christmas really is fast approaching, here is a good (and entertaining idea) to help celebrate the holiday. Its called white elephant, and I am sure many of you have heard of it, if not allow me to explain.
Everyone brings a gift (if you're living on the budget that I am it will probably be a recycled pair of socks...) that they put into the middle of the group. Then everyone draws a number that will correspond with the order they get to choose the gift. The person who draws #1 goes first (obviously..) and opens they're gift. Then you keep going in the order that was drawn. However these people have the option to steal the gift of any person before them or to choose a new present to open. This keeps on going until everyone has opened a gift. Usually people set a limit to how many times a gift can be stolen, making the activity a little more tense.
Thankful Turkeys
Thanksgiving. If you are attending college, it means it is almost break. Thank goodness. Nothing shows your gratitude more than dedicating a whole entire home evening to the holiday. This activity is going to be a flash back to grade school, if you can remember that far back.. Take your hand, place it on a piece of paper (holiday colors the better), trace your hand, cut it out, and write what you are grateful for on it. Its simple, but it is a good reminder of the meaning of the holiday....and hopefully those instructions were not too difficult for you to follow..
Nothing But Red
Valentine's Day can be a bit awkward.. Or entertaining, I guess it depends on how you choose to look at the "holiday". But if your FHE group needs an activity to "celebrate" this marked up Hallmark tradition, here's a good one. Have every member of the group bring a red dish for dinner. It could be something fancy, like a spaghetti marinara dish, or just plain delicious, like raspberry Jello. But the point is to have a nothing but red for dinner and to enjoy (as much as you can) the holiday..
Heart Attack
Ok, its that time of year again.. It is Valentine's Day... Or as some like to call it single awareness day.. So what is a good activity that is not too incredible awkward for a group of college age students to do together on this special holiday? Well there's nothing better than a heart attack.. or several. Get together with our group and choose a victim(s). Cut out as many paper hearts as you can possibly can. Maybe if you're feeling extra festive write actual valentines on these hearts. Then go to the home of your victims and plaster their door with your love symbols and enjoy their response..

Desnow Cars
On a snowy day get ice scrapers and clean off cars in a parking lot, and maybe have a snowball fight or two.
Service Cookies
Bake cookies as a group and give them to someone in need or to show appreciation for them.
YouTube
Each family member takes the week before to look up the funniest, craziest, or most random YouTube video they can find and when they meet the for the next FHE they all go around and share them and it always turns into good chuckles.
Short Film
Create a short film with your group and have a movie night. Also can split into groups and each make a video then hold a contest.
Pizza - Movie Night
Make or order a pizza and watch a good movie together. Popcorn, ice cream or candy work well too!
Music Video
Create a music video with your group. To do this you need a camera, computer, video editing software such as Windows Movie Maker (on most Windows computers), and music of course.
